PROPOSITO DEL ROL

Este rol es responsable del liderazgo, gestión y entrega de resultados contables, así como de la gestión del capital de trabajo, activos fijos y el cumplimiento de las normas contables y estatutarias. Asimismo, este cargo será el encargado de verificar el registro de operaciones relacionadas con el suministro de productos directos, indirectos, servicios y reembolsos de viajes, para mantener actualizadas las operaciones de proveedores y empleados, garantizando siempre el cumplimiento de los lineamientos establecidos por la región y las regulaciones locales.

El puesto reporta al Accounting Manager y tiene su sede en Bogotá, Colombia.

DESAFIOS EN LA POSICIÓN

  • Responsable del cierre mensual de la empresa y preparación de los estados financieros.
  • Garantizar el cumplimiento del alineamiento con las políticas internas y estimaciones contables.
  • Atención a auditorías internas y externas.
  • Responsable del cumplimiento de normas SOX locales e internacionales, USGAAP, IFRS, precios de transferencia e impuestos locales.
  • Administración y mejora continua del Capital de Trabajo de la empresa.
  • Coordinación y revisión de propuestas de pago según los vencimientos de las obligaciones contraídas por la empresa (pago a proveedores y reembolsos a empleados).
  • Participar proactivamente en todas las actividades definidas según el cargo y rol, en el marco del Sistema de Gestión de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de SG-SST.

A QUIEN BUSCAMOS

Experiencia y Educación

  • Contador Público (Certificado) autorizado para ejercer en Colombia.
  • Mínimo 5 años de experiencia trabajando en roles de contabilidad.
  • Deseable experiencia en roles de liderazgo o supervisión.
  • Sólido conocimiento de normas financieras y contables del país.
  • Orientación a resultados y enfoque en ejecución oportuna.
  • Experiencia trabajando en empresas multinacionales.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

This position is responsible for the leadership, management, and delivery of accounting results for corporate and local purposes, as well as the management of working capital, fixed assets, and compliance with accounting and statutory regulations. Also, this position will be in charge of verifying the registration of operations related to the supply of products direct, indirect, services and travel reimbursements, to keep the operations of suppliers and employees updated, always guaranteeing compliance with the guidelines established by the region and by local regulations.

The position will report to the Accounting Manager and the place of work is in Bogotá, Colombia.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

  • Responsible for the monthly closing of the company and preparation of local and corporate financial statements.
  • Guarantee compliance alignment with internal policies and accounting estimates.
  • Attention to internal and external audits.
  • Responsible for compliance with local and international SOX, USGAAP, IFRS, transfer pricing and local taxes.
  • Administration and continuous improvement of the company's Working Capital.
  • Coordination and review of payment proposals according to the maturities of the obligations contracted by the company (payment to suppliers and reimbursements to employees).
  • Proactively participate in all the activities defined according to the position and role, within the framework of the SG-SST Occupational Health and Safety Management System.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR

Experience & Education

  • Public Accountant (Certified) authorized to practice in Colombia.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting areas.
  • Desirable experience in leadership or supervision roles.
  • Solid knowledge of Colombia’s regulatory environment and Health Authority operations.
  • Results oriented and focus on timely execution.
  • Working experience in multinational companies (Very desirable).
