Located in the bustling world-class metropolitan area of Minneapolis Minnesota, our Brooklyn Park Manufacturing Facility is a Biologics Center of Excellence.

We have seen exciting growth since acquiring the facility in late 2015. The site has expanded from 42 full-time employees to well over 350, making Takeda the largest biologics manufacturer in the state of Minnesota. The site now produces two commercially licensed products for patients around the world.

As the facility has expanded, so too have the opportunities to develop skills and build careers – from supporting product expansion to the chance to work with some of the industry’s latest technological innovations.

One such partnership between Takeda and the University of Minnesota resulted in the development of a biologics curriculum focused on Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Technical Writing, Facility Operations, and Product Lifecycle Management. With this advanced training, our employees were able to develop skills they might not have received prior to joining Takeda.
