Job Description

OBJECTIVE

Lead team to develop and execute high-quality and effective medical information solution (MIS) strategy, including medical inquiry response, medical competitive intelligence, medical digital communication and digital innovative solutions based on Medical strategy and unmet medical needs of physicians/patients. Act as a good team leading role, including team member coaching for high-quality, on-time and innovative deliverables, talent development, continuous team efficiency enhancement, etc.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Develop MIS strategy and team work plan based on medical strategy, product life cycle, customer needs as well as changing environments and technologies.
  • Set up the agile collaboration model of Medical Information and Digital Communication so as to maximize deliverables for Takeda portfolio and relevant TAs.
  • Provide high-quality, accurate and timely medical inquiry response to physicians/patients/care givers to ensure responsible use of Takeda products.
  • Provide high-quality and targeted medical competitive intelligence on key competitors to brand and medical strategy decision makers.
  • Deliver high-quality, scientific, compliant and compelling medical digital communication contents, to strengthen scientific communication and education on brand medical key messages and unmet medical needs.
  • high quality, innovative digital communication contents. This role is responsible for developing medical digital communication plan of responsible TA, generating managing related medical digital activities, platforms and process, with the purpose and customer engagement, and drive the implementation of product medical strategy.
  • Innovate on solutions to support Medical strategy, business needs or customer needs via using digital, data and technology, and manage digital platforms in charge.
  • Deep dive customer insights via traditional ways or using new technology like NLP, big data analysis and AI.
  • Ensure team’s compliance to Takeda SOPs, ethical standards as well as laws and regulations.  
  • Play a good team leading role, including high-performance team culture maintaining, coaching, talent development, team efficiency enhancement, budget management.
  • Influence for collaboration with internal key stakeholders and external stakeholders, such as Digital Opinion Leaders, industry medical digital media.
  • Additional scope of responsibilities if assigned by the line manager.

Qualifications & Skills:

Level of Education

Bachelor degree in Medical, Pharmacy, Medical information or Life science is required, Master degree or above is preferable.

Working Experience in Relevant Field

  • ≥8 year related working experience in multinational pharmaceutical companies, medical social media or technological innovation companies.
  • ≥4 years team management experience is needed
  • Experience in medical information, medical digital communication, or digital innovation, is needed;
  • Proven experience in cross-functional collaboration, business support and customer engagement is preferable.

  • Think strategically.
  • Leadership skill to motive the team members.
  • Demonstrated ability in project management, and multiple project management simultaneously.
  • Good collaboration skills with key stakeholders, 3rd parties and DOLs in a credible, responsive and focused manner.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated and able to work independently as well as within cross-functional teams.
  • Good learning agility, open minded, and innovative.
  • Fluent in written business English, workable in spoken English.
