The Source to Pay Insights Team (S2P) partners with TBS Innovation, Analytics and Automation Team (IA&A) to make Data at Takeda trusted and credible, deliver next generation reporting solutions to improve user experience and drive advanced and packaged analytics.

The team’s mission is to accelerate value creation through actionable insights and active partnership with S2P teams and stakeholders, enabling a data driven performance and relationship management.

Reporting to the S2P insights lead the Source To Pay Insights Analyst will be responsible for the analysis of procurement and S2P data and performance to verify accuracy and generate actionable insights in active partnership with Procurement Solutions teams and stakeholder.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Generate insights through deep understanding of available data, underlying processes and systems, current challenges, and priorities to generate action and business discussion.

• Promote data driven decision making and analytical approach to challenges.

• Support and/or lead conversation with Procurement Solutions teams and stakeholder to explain the information presented, understand, and refine insights, gather future requirements and as applicable support resulting actions and decisions.

• Partner with IA&A team and leadership to ensure TBS maintains an accurate single source of truth for all Procurement and S2P related data and measures.

• Partner with IA&A and TBS procurement solutions lead and relevant stakeholders to develop and maintain a single reporting hub for all Procurement and S2P related data and performance measures with people friendly dashboards and reports.

• Take a critical eye to all reports, ensuring all the information shared is accurate and relevant to our processes and customers (based on BU, location, function, and roles).

• Challenge requirement to promote a holistic and bias free view of challenges and successes.

• Function as Single-Point-Of-Contact (SPOC) for relevant IA&A teams in their cooperation with Procurement Solutions

• Support relevant projects with providing and explaining required data

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

• Ability to work effectively with a diverse set of stakeholders on the business side. Able to understand and articulate business needs as an enabler for efficient reporting & analytics solutions development.

• A focus on customer needs and user experience.

• A strong data quality mindset with exceptional attention to detail.

• An Investigative mindset to verify and challenge data and decisions.

• Analytical thinking, yet flexible and pragmatic in considering unconventional approaches to solve problems on cutting-edge technology solutions.

REQUIRENMENTS:

• Knowledge of business processes that consume data, focused on management decision making, reporting and analytics.

• Solid experience in data analytics and tools

• Advanced knowledge of Excel, VBA, Power BI, Ariba, SAP•Knowledge of S2P process necessary.

• Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Ability to perform diagnosis and root cause analysis as well as identify opportunities for improvement.

• Fluency in English
