About the role:

Are you looking for a patient-focused, innovation-driven company that will inspire you and empower you to shine? Join Takeda as a Senior Manager - Digital TA Workday Technology & Process, located in Lexington, MA, where you will lead HR system enhancement efforts for Workday Recruiting and other packaged solutions across multiple teams and country locations. You will also guide communication between functional business leaders, Data Digital & Technology (DD&T) teams, Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence & Innovation (TA CoEI), People Solutions, and technology partners to develop project scope, accountabilities, and timelines. You will define requirements, recommend process improvements, coordinate data conversion and testing efforts, and promote change management and communication plans for all projects. As part of the HR Data Digital and Technology team, you will report to the Head of Digital Talent Acquisition.

How you will contribute:

  • Liaison between TA Technology and the TA COEI to translate TA business needs into technical feasibility, assist in enhancement prioritization, and communicate status of Workday Recruiting modifications and issues.

  • Strategize with Product Owner, Business Unit talent acquisition leadership, and Talent Acquisition CoEI on how to improve derived value from the technology.

  • Move between project management and principal business analyst accountabilities; building on experience gathered working with both traditional waterfall and agile project methodologies.

  • Use strong subject matter expertise in Talent Acquisition and related HR technologies, and prior experience in design and configuration of recruiting platforms

  • Gain an understanding of technology adoption challenges and opportunities over a culturally and geographically diverse stakeholder group and implement solutions accordingly.

  • Define business goals and success criteria for projects.

  • Create project plans, user stories, and backlog with business leads and technology providers.

  • Develop project status presentations, provide leadership reporting, and facilitate global project team meetings.

  • Partner with business unit/location leads and technology partners to establish timelines, roles, and responsibilities.

  • Define requirements, understand system capabilities, and lead stakeholders in process improvement decisions related to configuring systems to best meet those requirements.

  • Monitor deliverables from business units/locations and technology partners and follow-up to ensure delivery and functionality goals are met.

  • Partner with People Solutions HR service organization and the HR DD&T team in design of integration and support requirements for the projects.

  • Escalate issues where there is a need to deviate from the global design or best practice for a business unit or location.

  • Coordinate the change management, communication, and support plans with technology partners and business units/locations.

  • Follow-up on any post-implementation issues and ensure successful adoption.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 6+ years' prior work experience in a project management or workstream lead role to support these HR domains: Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, or Learning/Development.

  • Experience working with or supporting Workday Recruiting strongly preferred.

  • Experience leading teams or workstreams delivering system implementations in large, global, matrixed organizations while partnering with the business and IT functions and 3rd party technology providers.

  • Define and manage project plan including tasks, stakeholders, risks, and issues.

  • Design user process flows and translate them into system requirements.

  • Apply system configuration options and balance user requirements with system sustainability and performance expectations to guarantee an optimal user experience.

  • Experience in Agile Development, with specific product-focused experience, working with Agile teams (Scrum, Kanban).

  • Operates with a high level of discretion and is respectful of confidentiality in execution of all responsibilities; will handle confidential data.

  • Ability to translate technical requirements and language to a non-technical audience

  • High-level critical thinking and strategic approach required; agile approach and can adapt and pivot when necessary.

  • Excels at developing relationships throughout the organization; building networks and ability to collaborate closely with team members at various levels of management, including engaging with senior leaders.

  • Needs a high degree of initiative, autonomy, and ability to collaborate in a hybrid environment while meeting objectives.

  • Growth mindset with demonstrated commitment to learning & development of self and others.

  • Ability to collect, analyze and present data.

Takeda Compensation and Benefits Summary

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. We are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices.

For Location:

USA - MA - Hayden - 45-55

U.S. Base Salary Range:

$133,000.00 - $209,000.00

The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.

U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/or long-termincentives. U.S.based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S.based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
