Join us as a Business Planning & Analysis Finance Professional (Manufacturing – Plasma OpU) in Switzerland.

This role will be initially based in Zug and move to Zurich Opfikon later this year.

OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE

  • Support the BPA Lead in coordination of the MRP, MYC and LRF, including preparation of presentations to various Stakeholders.
  • Assist in the consolidation of OpU monthly financial results and variance commentary along with key messages.
  • Support accounting/controlling of the OpU ‘Above Site’ Manufacturing and Quality spend.
  • Support business analysis and OpU decision making as needed

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Support consolidate of monthly financial results and assist in the preparation of commentary for the OpU.
  • Support development of the MYC, MRP and perform variance analysis for Above Site Manufacturing and Quality for the OpU.
  • Assist in the coordination and consolidation of year-over-year standard cost changes and development of commentary and presentations for products manufactured in the OpU.
  • Assist in driving standard application of accounting policies and procedures across the OpU.

DIMENSIONS AND ASPECTS

Technical/Functional (Line) Expertise

  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing accounting, especially in the pharma/biotech industry. Decent understanding of bio-pharmaceutical manufacturing supply chains through all process steps from raw material to finished goods.

Leadership

  • Position will need to work closely with the BPA Lead and Site Finance Teams to help achieve Plan/MYC targets.

Decision-making and Autonomy

  • Position will be expected to work independently with minimal oversight.

Interaction

  • Will interact extensively with BPA Lead and Site Finance Teams.  Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) will be important to interact with colleagues across the world.

Innovation

  • Minimal.  Position will require ability to review and improve current processes.

Complexity

  • Position will partner with BPA Lead and Site Finance Teams across the world.

EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance and three to five (3-5) years of relevant experience
  • MBA or CPA (or equivalent) is a plus
  • Experience managing and engaging Global Teams
  • Strong business acumen and ability to manage multiple projects
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of Sox controls and GAAP accounting principles, especially manufacturing accounting
  • Strong interpersonal communication, collaboration, and presentation skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with ERP Systems (SAP, JDE, Oracle) and Hyperion Financial Manager (HFM) is a strong plus
