• Oversee and direct the day-to-day activities of digital solutions, services and platforms within the Japanese and APAC market, ensuring the solutions, services, platforms and infrastructure work reliably and securely.

• Provides leadership to digital projects across multiple business units with the global Digital Service Line capabilities

• Drives adoption of the Digital Service Line capabilities within Japan.

• Lead a business transformation and business capability building projects through technological solutions

Ensure the solutions for business transformation to be launched successfully and sustainably in the market.

  • Manages the Digital Service Line within Japan and APAC: various suppliers, the delivery of projects and the future support within the lifecycle of Digital solutions.
  • Identifies in cooperation with businesses and functions digital opportunities and needs; manages the feasibility of those in close coordination various IT stakeholders.
  • End-to-End responsiblity for all services developed and operationalized on DSL technology platforms within the responsible markets.
  • Develop and mature service and platform operational and governance processes.
  • Responsible the platform capability management.
  • Capacity planning, performance assessment and bottleneck analysis
  • Corporate with Global team, identify the business capability building opportunity through digital soulutions, and support a business transformation throught the projects
  • Lead to implement agile methodology and digital mindset in the responsiblemarket in business and IT departments. Seek external partnerships to drive digital innovation in the responsible market

  • Digital Service Lineを日本とAPACで管理。多くのサプライヤー管理、プロジェクト導入、デジタル・ソリューションのライフサイクルでのサポート。
  • 多くの部門と協力し、デジタル導入の機会やニーズをつかむ。それらに対して、IT部門と協力をし、実現性をはかる。
  • 導入されたサービスに対して、エンド・ツー・エンドのDigital Service Lineを構築し、安定的運営をする。
  • サービスの構築・運営・管理による成熟化をする
  • プラットフォームのキャパシティ管理の責任
  • システムのキャパシティ計画、パフォーマンス・アセスメント、ボトルネック分析
  • グローバルチームと共に、デジタルソリューションによるビジネス面で向上ポイントを見つけ、ビジネス革新プロジェクトをサポートする。
  • 担当マーケットで、ビジネス部門やIT部門とアジャイル手法やデジタル・マインドセット導入をリードする。外部企業とのパートナーシップを構築。


Technical/Functional (Line) Expertise

  • Complex technology integration in large companies
  • Deep DevOps experience.

  • Ability to quickly earn respect from stakeholders at all levels of the organization and to be viewed as a subject matter expert in digital opportunity assessment
  • Demonstrated experience in building strong relationships to positively influence outcomes and affect change 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross functional teams.
  • Demonstrated experience managing on-shore and offshore resources. 

Decision-making and Autonomy

  • Ability to analyze complex business needs and capability gaps in order to leadstakeholders and technical teams collaborate to deliver value oriented digital solutions
  • Identify the business challenges, decide and adapt the technological solutions to meet the local requirements.
  • Select, validate and tie with external partners, to bring innovation into Takeda.
  • Set KPI for the solutions

  • Must be able to efficiently navigate complex IT organizations to enable rapid software solution delivery.

  • 4-year Bachelor’s degree (required)
  • Fluent in Japanese and business level in English
  • 10+ years of experience delivering and supporting digital projects and products (required)
  • Experience with multiple technology platforms and solutions such as, CMS, SharePoint, Mobile, Robotic Process Automation, Machine Learning, Chatbot, NLP, OCR and Augmented/Virtual Reality (required)
  • Experience with standing up and supporting solutions in cloud (AWS, Azure) environments (required)
  • Experience in leading high performance multi faceted teams to deliver enterprise grade solutions in enterprise settings (required)
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to reach audiences of all levels of a large global organization (required)
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships and to influence others to move toward common goals (required)
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations (required)
  • Demonstrated knowledge or interest in digital technologies (required)
  • Understanding of latest software development trends (required)

  • クラウド(AWS, Azure等)環境でソリューション構築、運用の経験(必須)

Allowances: Commutation, Housing, Overtime Work etc.

Salary Increase: Annually

Bonus Payment: Twice a year

Working Hours: Headquarters (Osaka/ Tokyo) 9:00-17:30, Production Sites (Osaka/ Yamaguchi) 8:00-16:45, Research Site (Kanagawa) 9:00-17:45

Holidays: Saturdays, Sundays, National Holidays, May Day, Year-End Holidays etc. (approx. 123 days in a year)

Paid Leaves: Annual Paid Leave, Special Paid Leave, short-term and long-term sick leave, Refresh Leave, family support leave, maternity leave, childcare leave, family nursing leave, short-term family nursing leave.

Flexible Work Styles: Flextime, Telework
