Regional Market Access Lead

Are you looking for a patient-focused, innovation-driven company that will inspire you and empower you to shine? Join us as a Regional Market Access Lead in Sweden. This is a home-based position that involves traveling on weekly basis.

OBJECTIVES

• Leads, initiates and implements programs and activities to gain, maintain and improve access and reimbursement of Takeda products in assigned region, territory or hospital
• Acts as company liaison in stakeholder groups (such as payers/decision makers) in assigned territory
• Communicates in-field intelligence to internal stakeholders and collaboratively develops appropriate strategies and plans
• Contributes to access plan development across the brands ensuring early and proactive stakeholder engagement to secure patient access to product

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Industry Insight & Territory Planning

  • Map key stakeholders and their needs and decision making process to ensure the best possible regional market access and reimbursement
  • Conduct relevant regional market, customer and business analysis and define buying processes on district and account level
  • Stay informed and up to date on new developments in territory including political or policy changes and new market entrants
  • Cooperate in policy shaping initiatives

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Plan, organize and conduct regional public health events, and support policy decision makers
  • Primary liaison with access stakeholders at local level: development of long-term relationships to advance the understanding of Takeda’s approach and solutions
  • Interact with access stakeholders at provider level, for example hospital’s procurement office or pharmacist
  • Contribute to the implementation of innovative contracting solutions and conducting of negotiations with stakeholders

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Cross-functional cooperation with relevant office and field functions (e.g. Key account
    managers, Medical Scientific Liaisons) to develop a unified Takeda approach towards key stakeholders
  • Communicate field intelligence to internal stakeholders and collaboratively develop appropriate strategies and plans
  • Provide insights to brand teams on potential access barriers at Hospital level and
    strategies on how to succeed
  • Input in creation of product-related information and materials relevant for the
    Market Access Team
  • Assist Market Access Manager in managing reimbursement processes for Specialty Care products at country level
  • Strong collaboration and alignment with KAMs on account strategies, account planning and field activities particularly pertaining to tenders
  • Deliver agreed results in timely manner

EDUCATION  AND EXPERIENCE

  • Graduated in Business or Science, Health economics
  • Substantial experience in the Medical Device or Pharmaceutical sector
  • Market Access, medical, marketing or commercial roles in a matrix environment
  • Specialist knowledge in Pricing/Market Access process
  • Environmental Intelligence and Insight
  • Healthcare and reimbursement systems
  • Deep understanding of the disease & patient needs
  • Research and clinical development knowledge
  • Value Based Solutions design and execution
  • Tender and pricing management knowledge
  • Project management skills
