Job Description

Primary Accountabilities

  • Responsibility for controlling all Packaging production processes at Plant Singen with a focus on optimal utilization of personnel and plant capacities and costs, taking into account compliance with the agreed service levels
  • Responsibility for all business support activities (Validation and production support) at Plant Singen
  • Responsibility for all regulatory and legal requirements in Packaging at Plant Singen
  • Active development of employees including succession planning and recruiting in cooperation with local and corporate HR initiatives
  • Motivation of employees through active role model behavior and leadership in line with company objectives and ensuring a smooth flow of communication and information at all times
  • Development and implementation of suitable organizational structures to ensure the success of the company and its objectives
  • Budget responsibility including budget and resource planning
  • Ensuring the required delivery capability in accordance with the requirements of Supply Chain with the aim of increasing process efficiency. Permanent process optimization according to the current GMP standards (EU, US-FDA, ...) and ensuring GMP compliance in Packaging at Plant Singen, taking into account the current quality policy. Support during audits and inspections in cooperation with Quality Assurance at Plant Singen
  • Build a Takeda Center of Excellence Function in terms of packaging related GMP processes in the organization

Your Profile

  • University degree in pharmacy or other science, e.g. chemistry, biology, physics
  • Work experience in pharmaceutical Packaging and at least 4 to 5 years as Head of Department in Packaging
  • Experience in planning and budgeting
  • Leadership experience and skills
  • Excellent coordination- communication- coaching- and mentoring skills
  • Proven change management skills and experience in implementation of new processes
  • Experience in process management
  • Professional and positive approach
  • Effective communicator at all levels
  • Fluent English and German, written and spoken
  • Strong experience in LEAN concepts with the respective mindset
  • Tough personality and result-oriented
  • Strong project management and coaching skills
