Are you looking for a patient-focused, innovation-driven company that will inspire you and support your career? If so, be empowered to take charge of your future at Takeda. Join us as a Key Account Manager, Oncology (Scotland, NI, North East & Yorkshire) in our UK affiliate.

As a Key Account Manager reporting to the Oncology Divisional Sales Director you will be empowered to develop and lead the delivery of the business plan for your territory initially in the targeted lung cancer arena (ALK positive non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC)) using superior account leadership and working in collaboration with other cross functional partners.

Successful applicants will need considerable previous successful industry sales experience in a Key Account Management role preferably with oncology (solid tumour) experience. You will be responsible for managing customer relationships across the full spectrum of customer types, and population decision makers within the local health economy such as Oncology Doctors, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Specialist Pharmacists, & NHS Managers within Oncology.

Key skills required

  • ABPI qualified with considerable working knowledge of the NHS, funding & processes.
  • Degree in science/business related subject; able to assimilate and communicate complex clinical data
  • Exceptional business planning and account management skills
  • Motivated by autonomy and work variety with the ability to adjust quickly to change
  • Achievement oriented, energetic, enthusiastic and self-motivated.
  • Desire to put people first and demonstrate the values of Takeda-ism
