We focus our research and development on the core therapeutic areas of oncology, gastroenterology, neuroscience, and on providing vaccines that address the most important infectious diseases. Under general direction, this high profile position provides a wide variety of administrative and project support to site leadership utilizing exceptional computer skills. Essential Duties and Responsibilities General office duties including mail distribution and making shipments, taking meeting minutes, compiling data for reports, creating presentations, proofreading and editing documents, filing, conducting internet/intranet research, and ordering supplies; Possible timekeeping responsibilities. Schedule meetings including proactively arranging rooms, equipment and refreshments. Support functional leaders with specialized and ongoing tasking sometimes under tight deadlines and quick turnaround times. Participation on project teams Assist with external regulatory inspections and audits Coordinate basic travel arrangements, both local and international, and process expense reports. Participate as an active member of Employee Activity Committee and assist with event planning. Exposure to confidential/sensitive information and policies/procedures. Qualifications Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word/Outlook/Excel/PowerPoint) is required. Must have the ability to prioritize workflow and manage time effectively. Taking initiative, using good judgment, understand deadlines, and carrying multiple projects through to completion with an ability to work independently under general direction. Should be detail oriented. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in order to effectively communicate in a complex environment. Must be flexible and adapt to changing priorities. Must be willing/able to work occasionally in controlled manufacturing environment where Good Manufacturing Practices are followed. Cannot be allergic to Cephalosporin drug. Education and/or experience High school diploma or equivalent required; Higher level degree preferred. Minimum 2-4 years of experience. Physical Demands • Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 20 lbs. • In general, the position requires a combination of sedentary work and walking around observing conditions in the facility. Working Environment General office environment Must be able to work overtime as required. Inside working conditions.
