Job Title: Onco-hematology Marketing Lead
Department: Oncology Business Unit
The position reports to Oncology Division Director
Build partnerships between Takeda, its customers & key stakeholders and maintain long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships to drive Patient-Trust-Reputation-Business. Coordinate and supervise the design of assigned portfolio Marketing Plan, defining targets and providing insights and support to key strategic decisions, in line with EUCAN Marketing guidelines and BU objectives.
Provide Global/EUCAN integrated brand Teams with valuable input to support the LOC needs and to improve country brand plans.
Supervise and monitor Integrated Brand Team activities and budget ensuring proper allocation of resources among products and functions respectful of budget constraints.
Develop and implement the Strategic Marketing Plan in line with the Global and EUCAN Brand Strategy and LOC BU objectives.
Identify synergies within “assigned portfolio” and with other BUs and functions.
Supervise and challenge sales forecasts and sales targets in terms of market share, turnover, and ensure the constant monitoring.
Liaise with the Head of Oncology Medical Affair to ensure adequate technical expertise to sales teams, developing and coordinating the appropriate training programs to ensure best in class customer interactions.
Create an external stakeholder relationship strategy, together with relevant internal teams, and drive communication & interactions for the assigned portfolio.
Maintain relationships with key customers, KOLs, and scientific societies as well as with Industry associations and PAG representatives.
Participate in key customer congresses and events for latest research updates, interactions with KOLs/HCPs and demonstrate Takeda’s presence in the field.
Drive cross-functional key account management (KAM) process and follow up at regular intervals.
Support the Oncology Division Director in building and leading a strong brand team and developing team members to equip them for current and future business and career opportunities.
Develop effective and constructive working relationships throughout the Business Unit and Takeda LOC in general and with the Oncology Brand Team, Takeda Market Access department and Takeda Medical Department in particular.
- University degree (marketing/science preferably)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry
- Segment specific experience (at least 2 years)
- Identification with Takeda-ism values
- Fluent written & spoken English
Experience in leading cross-functional teams at local or regional level as well as managing and developing people.
Superior analytical skills – expertise with tools to analyze and visualize data; ability to effectively present and defend analyses.
Demonstrated experience in developing value-adding ‘win-win’ solutions with external stakeholders.
Capable of working in a fast-paced environment, to address topics collaboratively and with solutions that are appropriate to the Takeda culture.
Launch experience from a similar environment.
Deep understanding of healthcare and access systems as well as treatment pathways.
Ability to build a collaborative network of relationships with people in a variety of functions, roles and locations and leverages formal and informal networks to accomplish the ambitious goals.
