As we continue our digital transformation and experience rapid growth in the U.S. and Europe, Takeda Business Solutions (TBS) is now hiring a TBS Payroll Specialist - Europe with a passion for payroll operations, digital solutions, and helping patients.

This is a vital role within the People Solutions function — a dynamic team within Takeda Business Solutions. As a TBS Payroll Specialist - Europe, you will be partnering with HR and Finance to ensure the accurate and timely execution of payroll operations.  Reporting to the Payroll Operations Manager, Europe you will be an innovative, trusted partner to business and other HR functions.

Accelerate value & make an impact by:

  • The day to day processing of assigned payrolls

  • Completing payroll changes, on and off boarding, banking requirements for salary and tax payments and month end reconciliations

  • Ensuring timely stakeholder query resolution and providing any additional project work support when required

  • Partnering with HR and Finance to ensure the accurate and timely execution of payroll operations

  • Ensuring payroll inputs are consolidated and processed accurately and timely and in accordance with country local requirements and as guided by the Payroll COE

  • Ensuring all equity transactions are captured and processed within the pay periods

  • Completing month end payroll activities

  • Scheduling, facilitating and participating in payroll-related meetings and presentations

  • Providing timely and accurate reporting to internal and external agencies, e.g. Payroll COE, Revenue, etc.

  • Preparing employee and payroll related payments

  • Working with other TBS / HR functions to ensure consistent and accurate flow of information

  • Working with external providers regarding specific payroll treatment for employees e.g. expatriate, international assignments & equity as guided by the Payroll COE

  • Assisting in regular audits

  • Ensuring a consistent focus and involvement in driving efficiencies and process improvements

Required qualifications:

  • Experience in similar role with payroll experience. We are looking to build a team and welcome all ranges of experience

  • Knowledge and application of payroll principles, concepts and industry practices and standards desirable

  • Understanding of Equity and Mobility programs

  • HR operations or shared services environment or HR Functional experience preferred (i.e. HRIS, Compensation, Benefits, Staffing, HR Service Center, etc.)

  • Knowledge of HR policies and procedures

  • Knowledge of Workday

  • Strong excel skills

  • Fluency in English

Preferred qualifications:

  • Fluency in Polish and/or any other European languages
