. We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our very successful Internal Medicine Franchise. This particular role will cover the following territory: Sicily, Calabria and Basilicata. Candiates for this role will be expected to already reside in this territory, with a preference for Catania Main Purpose of the role: Responsible for the development and execution of a business plan for Takeda’s RD products in specific area of coverage, including annual sales targets and marketing strategies and tactics Active support in patient Finding activities. Cooperate with First Line Manager in the development of Takeda RD business in Italy Main Responsibilities: Responsible for the sales and marketing of the product portfolio in Italy including: Achieving annual sales targets for Takeda RD products Increasing product market share Promoting Takeda HRD products in a way which optimises the number of patients treated with Takeda RD products The successful launch of new products Identifying and contacting doctors and centres where patients are diagnosed and treated Raising the awareness and knowledge amongst healthcare professionals of the disease areas or conditions to be treated by our drugs. This includes doctors with different specialities, hospital pharmacists, hospital directors, and diagnostic centres Contacting & identifying appropriate patient associations and developing systems of communication & support Working with representatives of funding bodies and others involved to ensure availability of funding for treatment Developing and maintaining excellent relationships with Opinion Leaders Managing activities relating to the distribution and dispensing of Takeda RD products Maintain up-to-date skills and knowledge (scientific, medical, selling & marketing) Support Patient finding activities increasing the knowledge of the diseases Organized Meet the expert meetings and Hospital Meetings Organising and/or participating in appropriate local, national conferences and international conferences Education & Experience Requirements Graduate Qualification in Life Sciences or an associated area. Ideally experience in a “niche market” Desirable Higher level degree / MBA Key Skills and Competencies Fluent in Italian Minimum basic level of competency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint . Personal selling skills. Business planning skills Account plan capability Strong negotiation and presentation skills Commercial awareness Networking skills Analytical and challenging mind Broather scope: Prepares selling and support action plans for the area of coverage. Determines best use of promotional resources allocated for territory level expenditure Regularly consults and is fully accountable to First Line Manager Personally promotes assigned products to hospital doctors and pharmacists in his/her area of competence. Maintains appropriate contact with KOLs Other Requirements Driver’s license is essential. Regularly required to travel throughout Italy as requested. Travel to Swiss or other global locations for internal Takeda meetings as and when requested. Travel to global locations to support activities at international scientific meetings.
