During the chat, they press job seekers to provide bank account information and personal identification numbers. If you receive unexpected offers of employment from people claiming to work for Takeda, we suggest you do not correspond with them, do not click any hyperlinks and do not open any attachments.
At Takeda, we will never ask for personal financial information during any step of the interview nor do we charge job seekers fees as part of the recruitment process. As a Sr. Mechanic for Refrigeration,you are responsible forpreventative maintenance,repairs, overhauls,troubleshooting and upkeepof two Takeda sites. Your work is crucial to the smooth functioning of Takeda equipment, enabling continuous production of life-transforming treatments to patients.Key facets of the role include:
Troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on critical plant equipment, inclusive of refrigeration systems, HVAC systems, air handlers, pumps,relevant mechanical & electrical equipment,andindustrial control systems
Maintainingrefrigerant records in compliance with US EPA and SCAQMD mandated refrigeration recordkeeping
Ensuring that equipment maintains compliance with local, state, federal, and internationallawsandregulations
Update change control documents, complete and close assigned work orders within an internal system
Knowledge of refrigeration systems, chillers, HVAC, electrical, Dehumidification,pumpsand steam heat
Lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 pounds
Climbladders and move about in close quarters, facility non-manufacturing support
Willing and able to workmultipleshifts, including weekends and overtime as required
Have a keen eye to constantly monitor and maintain facility conditions
Work under limited supervision
Understanding of cGMP and non-cGMP regulations
Dispose hazardous waste
Be on-call to respond to emergency work situations
Basic knowledge ofcomputer skills
Education, Competencies and Skills:
US EPA Universal certification
HighSchool Diploma, A.A./A.S. technical discipline
Journeyman skilled craft training/apprenticeship certificate orequivalenteducationandexperience
5+years maintenance experience at journeyman level in pharmaceuticals or commercial industrial refrigeration manufacturing environments
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong written, verbal, and procedural writing skills
