Overall Objective
The Patient Services Manager leads, drives and supports excellence in patient support programmes across all business units, working together with Patient Services Lead and Patient Services Contracting Lead across all relevant local functions and global/international Patient Services teams.

Responsible for the development of, and successful compliant execution of, local solutions with guidance from Patient Services Lead and global/EUCAN patient services teams.

Management of the relationship with all homecare providers, with particular focus on monthky KPI’s and reporting, complaints and incidents and monitoring of effectiveness of patient support programmes

Responsibilities (including but not limited to)

Assess and monitor impact and execution of current patient service offerings, liaising with Patient Services Lead, Patient Advocacy Lead, Business Units and homecare/patient support program providers to capture feedback from service users and stakeholders such as HCPs, nurses, patient organisations and payers.

Support the development and implementation of best in class patient support programs across all brands in alignment with local (internal/external) stakeholders and the Global Patient Support stakeholders.

Assess and monitor local legal and regulatory environment relevant to patient support programs.  Work with Compliance, Legal, Regulatory and NHMC and ABPI to adhere to obligations.

Ensure all patient materials from the homecare companies/program providers are current, unexpired and relevant.

Manage any new materials through the approval process, including the withdrawal of old/expired materials.

Be the main point of regular contact with all homecare providers/program providers, with responsibility for maintaining good working relationships with them.  Ensure all providers are compliant with their monthly KPI’s and reporting, complaints and incidents and ensure all outstanding matters with providers are followed through and resolved in a timely manner.

Work with Patient Services Lead and Medical leads to develop and execute programs for the collection of Real World Evidence (RWE) across all brands.

Develop relationships with internal stakeholders and external leading nurses in relevant therapeutic areas using these relationships to develop programs to cover the maxiumum amount of patients and disseminate relevant information.

Share best practices with local and international team and report on a monthly basis the KPIs to International.

Experience and Education

•            Knowledge of ABPI and IPHA Codes of Practice

•            Proven experience in pharmaceutical industry or home care environment is required, including intimate knowledge of industry code of conduct and relevant legislation for interaction with patients

•            Experience with the design and implementation of patient support programs is preferred

•            Strong understanding of the patient support environment

•            Proven project management experience

•            Excellent command of written and spoken English

•            Knowledge of any foreign language is an asset

•            Experience in patient organisations
