Job Description

Join us as a Business Insights Manager in our UK office, (currently Wooburn Green, Buckinghamshire, moving to London Paddington in January 2020.)

As a BI Manager supporting the Commercial Excellence Team, reporting to the Head of Insights and Analytics, you will be empowered to translate your understanding of your assigned therapy areas into effective business analysis. You will use a mix of secondary data sources, primary market research and competitor analysis to support a range of activities including monitoring and control of marketing campaigns as well as input into strategic market planning and forecasting. Translating and communicating the results of this analysis into actionable recommendations to appropriate stakeholders will be a key part of your role.

Preferred candidates will be degree educated with experience of working within a data analysis role to support brand performance within the pharmaceutical sector.   You will need to demonstrate evidence of conducting or assisting with market research projects with good project management experience and an understanding of forecasting.

Essential skills required

  • Knowledge of Pharmaceutical data (IMS datasets, Wilmington data, etc)
  • High levels of computer Literacy (including Advanced Excel)
  • A team player with good interpersonal skills.
  • Well organised with the ability to balance conflicting priorities
  • Positive work ethic, results focused and able to work independently
  • Articulate and confident communication skills
  • Data analysis and interpretation and report writing with ability to present analysis as recommendations.
  • Desire to put people first and demonstrate the values of Takeda-ism
