As a ServiceNow Platform Lead working on the Core Technology & User Experience team, you will be empowered to have ownership of ServiceNow Platform and ensure it is fit for purpose in Takeda environment. In this role, you will contribute to Takeda’s mission by leading, driving, and managing all aspects of Takeda’s ServiceNow platform. A typical day will include:


  • Ownership of ServiceNow Platform and ensure it is fit for purpose in Takeda environment
  • Leads, drives, and manages all aspects of Takeda’s ServiceNow platform.
  • ServiceNow technology strategy and roadmap
  • Stakeholder Management to understand business processes and requirements and provide solutions related to the ServiceNow platform.
  • Manage ServiceNow Release Management Policy and Lifecycle.
  • Manage customer expectations, including IT Service Owners, Application Owners and the Business.


  • Develop and maintain ServiceNow technology roadmap to align with Service Management strategy roadmap
  • Ensure ServiceNow platform stays fit for purpose and compliant with security/regulation policies.
  • ServiceNow platform as per ITIL best practices.
  • Prioritize and manage business demands to ServiceNow capabilities
  • Engage with Service Integration team and Service Governance team for improvement
  • Relationship management with stakeholders such as Compliance, QA, Takeda Business Service
  • Relationship management with ServiceNow


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred or relevant systems experience.
  • 10+ years of information systems experience in multiple areas of IT.
  • 7+ years of experience in IT Management
  • 5+ years of global project leadership and execution
  • ITIL accredited
  • Experience of managing outsourced services
  • 5+ years of Experience in ServiceNow Platform management and Integrations
  • Experience in self-help automation and understanding of the supporting technology (ServiceNow)
  • Experience with Agile Development methodologies
  • Experience producing technical designs, well documented code, and writing unit tests
  • Excellent collaboration & communication skills with the ability to convey technical information
  • Ability to work comfortably and diplomatically across departments within a large international corporate environment to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to communicate effectively with multiple levels including executive leadership team peers, managers and staff.
  • Ability to partner effectively on cross-functional projects or teams.
  • Strong team building and talent management skills.
  • Experience in managing services delivery, including support during IT integrations and divestitures.
  • Strong business knowledge, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
