Job Description

OBJECTIVES: 

  • Develop and execute CDPATH™ Personalized Prognostic Tool commercialization initiatives and management, including promotional activities, field training and support, marketing asset development for providers and patients
  • Partner and support field teams to gather insights from providers and develop tools and resources to better support successful implementation of IBD programs
  • Drive Program KPI plan through partnership with Takeda analytics

ACCOUNTABILITIES: 

  • Own and execute launch activities aligned with brand strategy, delivering tactics for both HCP and patient audiences
  • Manage outside agencies and consultants to meet expected project objectives and hold them accountable to agreed upon standards
  • Manage third party relationship with laboratory partner to ensure program is running per contractual agreements and ensuring customer service team is effectively servicing HCPs.
  • Support the forecasting and budgeting process
  • Liaise with legal, regulatory and compliance to ensure all marketing activities are compliant with regulatory and legal requirements
  • Develop project and tactic assessments and valuations (ROI) that leverage analytics and research to identify successes. 
  • Engage with internal and external partners to seek insights, best practices and identify innovations from experts
  • Serves as back-up for team members as needed and direct manager when requested

EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 5+ years of commercial pharmaceutical experience with minimum of 4 years in pharmaceutical marketing required
  • US commercial experience preferred
  • Education in Biology, Marketing, Strategy and/or Business Administration preferred
  • Must be able to perform in fast paced environments, exhibit leadership skills, and be able to influence without authority
  • Must be able to comfortably liaise with physician thought leaders
  • Must be a self-starter who can function independently or within a team
  • Strong oral and written communication skills required
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and strategic thinking skills required
  • Must be able to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong financial management and budgeting capabilities required
  • Ability to develop productive vendor relationships and management

  • None

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: 

  • Manual dexterity required to operate office equipment (i.e. computers, phones, etc)
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
  • Carrying, handling and reaching for objects

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Requires approximately 30-40% travel
  • Willingness to travel to various meetings, conferences and could include nights and overnights. Some weekend and/or international travel may be required.
