During the chat, they press job seekers to provide bank account information and personal identification numbers. POSITION OBJECTIVES:

Reporting to the Head of Global Learning Innovation, the Learning Innovation Lead will take a learner-first perspective in leading the design, creation, curation, delivery and implementation of enterprise-wide learning solutions. The incumbent of this role will champion the creative use of technology and targeted experimentation with cutting-edge learning methodologies including, but not limited to, artificial intelligence in learning, mobile learning, micro-learning, gamification, social learning, hybrid learning - all to enable engaged, personalized, lifelong learning at Takeda.

The Learning Innovation Lead will work collaboratively across the Global Learning Solutions team to support the overall GLS transformation strategy to embed learning in work and work in learning in our vision of becoming a lifelong learning organization.

The Learning Innovation Lead will champion the voice of the learner when partnering closely with internal stakeholders including business leaders, functional HR peers, embedded learning teams, communities of practice and external vendors and partners.

The ideal candidate demonstrates and shares a passion for providing access to impactful learning experiences to employees globally and shows a strong commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion as a foundation to a culture of innovation.

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Lead the design, development, experimentation and implementation of learning solutions including virtual, hybrid and in-person learning experiences
  • Use cutting-edge thinking and models from instructional design, learner experience design, adult learning, neuroscience and human development to assess, create and implement learning solutions
  • Represent learner needs and expectations through each phase of learning solution development process using tools such as high level designs and learner journeys (design, development, experimentation and implementation)
  • Ensure diversity, equity and inclusion is integral in all phases of the learning solution development process (design, development, experimentation and implementation)
  • Partner with Learning Content Lead to design learning assets (videos, e-Learning modules, job aids, worksheets) in support of learning solution
  • Facilitate design sessions and workshops with internal and external partners
  • Play role of facilitator in learning solutions as needed, especially during pilot and experimentation phases
  • Source, curate and lead the design and production of bold and innovative learning assets for Takeda internally and with external partners
  • Establish and maintain social channels in support of building social presence across the organization
  • Support a culture of innovation, experimentation and metrics-based decision-making
  • Build key processes for the design and development of learner-centric solutions to enable an end-to -end learner experience
  • Lead the experimentation of new approaches that promote a lifelong learning culture at Takeda
  • Conducts research through literature searches, internet, professional organizations, etc., to incorporate the most up-to-date and relevant practices to include in all learning solutions
  • Deliver against key performance indicators that demonstrate clear contributions to building a lifelong learning culture at Takeda
  • Deliver within established project budgets and timelines

EDUCATION, BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in learning and development roles or equivalent experience
  • Expertise in instructional design, development, delivery and measurement of learning solutions
  • Experience with learning design software – such as InDesign, Articulate, Storyline, Camtasia – desired but not required
  • Exceptional facilitation skills to engage all levels of learners across the organization including senior executive level
  • Strong ability to proactively anticipate obstacles, manage through ambiguity, negotiate deliverables, and adjust project scope to ensure world-class learning solutions
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influence skills to build relationships and deliver results across the organization
  • Ability to present ideas in a clear, concise, and compelling manner
  • Must be both strategic and proactive – able to contribute to a high-level learning strategy while monitoring and ensuring results and execution.
