Job Description


  • Support CDPATH™ Personalized Prognostic Tool commercialization initiatives and management, including promotional activities, field training and support, marketing asset development for providers and patients, key stakeholder engagement and longer-term strategy development
  • Develop and execute multi-channel marketing programs that drive awareness, education and adoption of the CDPATH tool
  • Partner with field teams to gather insights from providers and develop tools and resources to better support successful implementation of the program
  • Outline vision and plan for expanding IBD leadership platform with programs expanding upon CDPATH foundation


  • Oversee the execution of all launch activities aligned with brand strategy, delivering tactics for both HCP and patient audiences
  • Develop and lead marketing strategy and tactics (both non-personal promotion (NPP) and Field Led) for Brand
  • Oversee brand messaging and resource development to support CDPATH and IBD programs
  • Act as key brand point person and partner to the US Medical team
  • Support innovation of commercial approach through technology, customer insights, field observation and continued education
  • Engage with internal and external partners to seek insights, best practices and identify innovations from experts
  • Contribute to the development of the annual brand business plan, create programs and tactics to support the strategy and champion that plan through engagement with cross-functional partners
  • Gain approval for marketing strategies and tactics through the required internal review processes
  • Liaise with legal, regulatory and compliance to ensure all marketing activities are compliant with regulatory and legal requirements
  • Manage outside agencies and consultants to meet expected project objectives and hold them accountable to agreed upon standards and budgets
  • Develop project and tactic assessments and valuations (ROI) that leverage analytics and research to identify successes. 
  • Oversee forecasting and budgeting associated with IBD educational programs and CDPATH
  • Evaluate and optimize third party laboratory and vendor relationships and performance to align with business needs and growth
  • As a leader within the team, support development of others and foster a positive culture within the team and with cross-functional partners.
  • Serves as back-up for team members as needed and direct manager when requested


  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 10+ years of commercial pharmaceutical experience with minimum of 4 years in pharmaceutical marketing required
  • US commercial experience preferred
  • Education in Biology, Marketing, Strategy and/or Business Administration preferred
  • Must be able to perform in fast paced environments, exhibit leadership skills, and be able to influence without authority
  • Must be able to comfortably liaise with physician thought leaders
  • Must be a self-starter who can function independently or within a team
  • Strong oral and written communication skills required
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and strategic thinking skills required
  • Must be able to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong financial management and budgeting capabilities required
  • Must be able to manage vendor relationships


  • Manual dexterity required to operate office equipment (i.e. computers, phones, etc)
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
  • Carrying, handling and reaching for objects


  • Requires approximately 30-40% travel
  • Willingness to travel to various meetings, conferences and could include nights and overnights. Some weekend and/or international travel may be required.
