ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Reports to IT Manufacturing Site Business Partner for location Hikari, scope manufacturing facility
  • Build effective partnerships with onsite assigned business groups/executives
  • Manage/maintain business systems if needed, focus on manufacturing systems
  • Together with the Site Business Partners and respective business units provide guidance to the site-specific system & application landscape and related costs
  • Leads in finding solutions in accordance with Takeda system development life-cycle, policies, and ITIL guidelines.

Application & Database Management Skills

  • Deploy new systems, services or changes in accordance with operations acceptance criteria
  • Maintain technical applications and databases, provide 2nd level support, - if required - coordinate 3rd level support and according to ITIL processes and Takeda’s SOP’s and guidelines
  • Manage applications & system according defined operating model
  • Provide guidance on incidents and operating level breaches and prepare operating level reports
  • Monitor, improve and report performance of applications

Infrastructure Management Skills

  • Monitor and report performance of infrastructure components and services
  • Deploy new infrastructure services or changes in accordance with operational acceptance criteria’s in accordance with all applicable compliance requirements, e.g. JSOX, GxP.
  • Manage infrastructure component services, provide 2nd level support, - if required - coordinate 3rd level support and according to ITIL processes and Takeda’s SOP’s and guidelines
  • Provide guidance on incidents and operating level breaches and prepare operating level reports
  • Define infrastructure service requirements and operations acceptance
  • criteria for service development projects and external providers
  • Manage vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems with desktop computing, Data Center and network equipment.
  • Lead or influence information technology projects and repairs throughout the manufacturing facility

EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS

  • Work experience in process industries within the areas of either international pharmaceutical manufacturing
  • Experience in integrating IT systems, IT life cycle management and interfacing solution components
  • Experienced IS/IT technician managing the day-to-day operation of a system to support respective business units
  • Experience in managing IT services and coordinating outsourcing partners
  • Experience in managing complex infrastructure environments (Network, Server, virtual environment sourcing) and ability to understand complex IT landscapes
  • Ability to speak the local language, preferable as native tongue

Desired:

Two or more years practical experience in implementing and maintaining specific technology, e.g. business solutions for manufacturing in a regulated industry/environment

LICENCES/CERTIFICATIONS

  • Deeply familiar with reliable IS/IT operations best practices (ITIL certified or equivalent would be ideal)

Allowances: Commutation, Housing, Overtime Work etc.

Salary Increase: Annually

Bonus Payment: Twice a year
Working Hours: Headquarters (Osaka/ Tokyo) 9:00-17:30, Production Sites (Osaka/ Yamaguchi) 8:00-16:45, Research Site (Kanagawa) 9:00-17:45
Holidays: Saturdays, Sundays, National Holidays, May Day, Year-End Holidays etc. (approx. 123 days in a year)
