Objective / accountability

  • Technical Lead and Support of IT Projects in the Manufacturing environment at Japanese plants.
  • Actively participates in the deployment of MES at the manufacturing site by collaborating with global team and cross-functional site teams.
  • Responsible for technical integration and operation of System Interfaces within manufacturing environment such as MES, Historian, big data platform and Manufacturing warehouse management systems
  • Support Takeda’s digitalization strategy by further identifying, planning and coordinating improvement potentials to further gathering, processing and utilizing data from the manufacturing environment
  • Close collaboration with site business owners, system owners, sponsors, project managers, local and global IT, automation and engineering teams to understand, support and improve technical processes
  • Assurance and continuous alignment of a good and sustainable IT service level
  • Assurance and continuous alignment of a secure infrastructure, system and application life cycle management in the manufacturing environment
  • Ensure the adherence to GxP, global Takeda and site regulations within Site manufacturing domain
  • Coordination of external parties involved to perform change
  • Provide training for operation support and key users




MESやHistorian システム(製造情報等を蓄積するシステム)、Big data 解析のためのシステムや倉庫システムなど工場の製造実行に関わる必要システムとのインターフェース構築を行う。

工場の更なるDigital transformationに向け、改善の機会を見つけ、データを活用し、計画実行する。






Profile Requirements

  • Education (minimum/desirable): Masters’ degree in Engineering, Automation, Information Technology or related Engineering/Technical field

  • At least 3 years’ experience of a project manager or sub-project leader in IT system implementation or IT system building for business such as project planning, or case management, specification changes, budget management, and communication with stakeholders)

  • At least 5 years’ of working experience in the IT field
    Knowledge of IT infrastructure such as servers, networks and security requirement for IT system implementation
    Ability to identify issues, develop solutions, coordinate with stakeholders and execute solutions

  • Ability to communicate in Japanese 

  • Intermediate English level (more than TOEIC 600)

  • Self-motivated and able to learn and act on their own initiative 
    Willingness to challenge new things and quick learner

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experiences of pharmaceutical industry 
  • Knowledge of regulations in the pharmaceutical industry (e.g. GMP)
  • Experience of system implementation that requires Computer System Validation/ Qualification
  • Computer Science background
  • Business Level of English (TOEIC 750 or above)


  • 業務で使用するITシステム導入/構築プロジェクトにおいて、プロジェクトマネージャもしくはサブプロジェクトのリーダとしての3年以上の実務経験があること(プロジェクト計画立案、要件整理、仕様調整、予算管理、ステークホルダーとのコミュニケーション)
  • IT分野で5年以上の実務経験があること
  • ITシステム導入に必要となるサーバやネットワーク、セキュリティなどのインフラ系のIT知識があること
  • 課題抽出、対応法の立案ができ、ステークホルダーとの調整や実行ができること
  • 日本語で流暢に会話ができ、意思疎通できること
  • 英語スキル(目安:TOEIC 600以上)
  • 自発的に学習し行動できること
  • 新知識の吸収に積極的であり、習得が早いこと


  • 製薬業界での業務経験
  • 製薬業界を特有の規制(GMPなど)に関する知識があること
