Job Description

Join us as a Team Administrator - Quality, Regulatory, MI & PV on a 6 month Fixed Term Contract in our UK office, Wooburn Green, Buckinghamshire.

Reporting to the Regulatory Affairs and Quality Manager, in this role you will provide wide ranging administrative support to the Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Information (MI) and Pharmacovigilance (PV) teams.   

The successful applicant will have a minimum of 1 year's experience within a similar administrative support role, preferably within the Pharmaceutical industry.  You will need to be process and system orientated and enjoy working in a structured way with excellent attention to detail.  This is an ideal opening for a positive, flexible and adaptable individual who is willing to to apply themselves to any task and develop new skills. The role is extremely varied and will give a strong administrator a rare opportunity to learn the processes involved across the Quality, Regulatory, MI and PV functions.

 Key Accountabilities incude:

  • Responding to incoming calls to Takeda UK, dealing with enquiries or queries and forwarding calls to suitable people and departments.

  • Finance activities such as raising purchase orders, submitting and tracking invoices and monitoring payments in the Ariba system.

  • File and upload of contracts and agreements to Contiki and Ariba

  • Preparation and allocation of Regulatory and PV training courses in the electronic learning management system and supporting with third party PV training courses

  • Ordering of British library resources and papers and Adverse Event reporting cards; managing subscriptions, circulations and licenses and responding to basic MI customer requests

  • Logging of Medical Information enquiries and assignment to members of the team

  • Project work as required by the Regulatory Affairs and Quality Manager, Medical Information Manager and Drug Safety Officer.

Key skills required

  • Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Process driven with good system skills (eg. Ariba) and advanced Excel skills
  • Team player with an enthusiastic and positive attitude
  • Able to multi task and keep calm under pressure
  • Desire to put people first and demonstrate the values of Takeda-ism
