Job Description

Are you looking for a patient-focused, innovation-driven company that will inspire you and support your career? Join us as a Business Partner in our UK office - due to site relocation, initially this role will be dual located in Wooburn Green, Buckinghamshire and London Paddington, moving full time to London Paddington in January 2020.

As a key part of our Finance team, you will be empowered to provide integrated financial, commercial and project management support to the Business Units and Cost Centres in our UK Business. Supporting the Business Controller, you will responsible for the tracking, management & reporting of actual and projected spending via financial systems and assist in the process of Audit, Self-Assessment and internal control processes and evaluations.

In this role, you will also personally support the Oncology Business Unit with regard to month end reporting, Mid Year Commitment, Latest Best Estimate and Mid Range Plan processes including where relevant, integration with Business Intelligence and will take the lead on providing support to the business on company systems(Ariba and Concur).

The successful applicant will need to demonstrate sustained success in Financial Management, ideally in the pharmaceutical sector with a keen interest to lead the training of colleagues in financial, commercial and project business processes and proactively disseminate examples of best practice within the Business Unit. 

The Person

  • Degree Educated, part qualified or studying towards Financial Qualification.
  • Adaptable and motivated to develop and improve systems and processes
  • Team Leading experience with a commitment to developing the capability of others
  • Strong planning skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities
  • Understanding of sales and marketing in a commercial environment.
