This position is accountable for the in vivo experiments in drug discovery research related to muscular/ neuromuscular diseases such as Duchenne muscular dystrophy and myotonic dystrophy type 1, especially for administration of drug candidates to animals such as rodents, behavioral assessments, sampling of evaluation tissues. Additionally, biochemical analysis using tissue samples is included. Moreover, participation in the domestic and overseas collaboration researches is also included in this role. 

筋/神経筋疾患関連の創薬研究において、in vivo試験の計画立案および実施を主な業務として頂きます。具体的な実験としては、げっ歯類等薬効評価動物への候補薬物の投与、行動学的な薬効評価、評価組織のサンプリングになります。また、組織サンプルを用いた生化学的な解析についても一部担当して頂く場合があります。国内外の共同研究にも参加して頂く予定です。




M.S. in life sciences OR equivalent

理系 (医学・生物系) 修士卒以上


M.S. or Ph.D in sciences related to muscular/ neuromuscular diseases OR equivalent




In vivo research experience in the pharmaceutical company or academic research institute

More than 3 years research experience of in vivo pharmacological experiments related to muscular/ neuromuscular diseases in the pharmaceutical company or academic research institute

製薬企業、または大学等の研究機関における3年以上の筋/神経筋疾患に関するin vivo薬理研究の実務経験。



Practical experience in drug discovery research involving drug administration to rodents.

Practical experience in behavioral and biochemical assessments, anatomy, blood sampling, or tissue sampling including skeletal muscle in rodents.

Practical experience in the tissue sample analysis, particularly pathological analysis, and general biochemical analysis (e.g., protein expression analysis or gene expression analysis).





Business communication in Japanese or English, preferably in both. The head of our division is a native speaker of English. Communication in English is required for discussion with both internal and external researchers.



A person who has a high expertise in the muscular/ neuromuscular area he/she is in charge of and who can demonstrate leadership and promote research.

It is desirable to have high interpersonal skills because research will be conducted in cooperation with people in other departments.

Particular emphasis will be placed on practical experience in in vivo pharmacology research about muscular/ neuromuscular diseases using rodents. If an applicant has no experience with a company, a person with high flexibility is preferred.
