Due to an exciting period of company growth, our Medical Affairs team now have several new openings including the role of Medical Information Officer based from our UK offices, initially Wooburn Green, Bucks, moving to London Paddington in January 2020.

As a Medical Information Officer reporting into the Medical Information Manager, you will be responsible for providing timely and high quality information services in support of the Company’s products and interests with specific accountability for enquiry handling, keeping medical information databases up to date, updating product materials and checking technical accuracy of promotional materials. Adhering to and maintaining SOP's in all areas relating to Medical information to ensure compliance in the collection of adverse events and product complaints from the UK and Ireland will also be an important part of your role.

This is a great opportunity if you are an ambitious Pharmacist or Postgraduate wishing to learn quickly from a very experienced medical team and progress your Medical Affairs career with a dynamic, values-led organisation.

Key Skills required

  • Ideally 6 month’s experience or more gained within a Pharmaceutical Medical Information Dept
  • Pharmacy or Life Science degree with knowledge of pharmacology and pharmacotherapy.
  • Strong planning, prioritisation and organisation skills; systems capability
  • Able to make decisions and solve problems accurately and confidently.
  • Team player with the desire to work in a highly collaborative environment.
  • Desire to put people first and demonstrate the values of Takeda-ism
