As the Information Technology (IT) Industry 4.0 Product Manager, you will lead, manage, collaborate, and act as a single point of contact between the Global Manufacturing & Supply’s Strategy & Business Excellence Business Unit (BU) and IT Leadership to drive harmonization and alignment for technology.

The IT Industry 4.0 Product Manager will:

  • Provide leadership and influence the IT strategy to support the business and lead the IT translation and operationalization by applying existing, emerging, and new IT & Digital standards
  • Own the IT relationship with the Strategy & Business Excellence function and be accountable for business outcomes enabled by technology & digital
  • Lead and maintain IT roadmaps in alignment with BU’s strategic plans, ensuring those roadmaps are aligned regionally and globally, and facilitate new technology industry 4.0 choices to be managed as a product within IT organization
  • Align and lead the collaboration with the business leaders in your area. Understand and influence the business strategy. Understand specific business initiatives and goals
  • Drive business value across key capabilities including portfolio management and operational excellence domains
  • Act as a trusted technology advisor to the business, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels to guide and co-create new capabilities that are directly relevant to BU’s growth strategy
  • Drive and manage day-to-day IT operations and performance while also delivering committed portfolio of IT projects directly aligned with the BU
  • Coordinate with the relevant Business Process Experts to enable BU’s core capabilities as well as other Global IT functions
  • Collaborate with the BU to ensure demand is appropriately collected, filtered, consolidated, prioritized, funded, and resourced
  • Understand the Takeda business, its geographies, its franchises, the disease states and the products and services provided

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline  
  • 10+ years of working experience managing IT initiatives within manufacturing and supply chain in Pharmaceutical and/or Biotech environment
  • Experience in stakeholder facing role; acting as a trusted technology partner
  • Experience overseeing multiple initiatives, simultaneously from beginning to end (Proof of Concept)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Expertise in budget planning and financial management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project management qualification or equivalent experience preferable
  • Prior experience with data visualization tools (eg. PowerBI, Qlik, etc.)
