As a Office 365 Architect you will be a key player in partnering with Business and IT colleagues to architect, design, develop, test, launch and transition to operations innovative solutions based on Office 365 . With this you will establish and evolve strategic relationships with Microsoft and other key partners in the Office 365 space to drive innovation and Provide guidance to IT leadership to drive innovation within the Collaboration and Productivity space while providing trade studies and other decision aids to enable decision making.

OBJECTIVES:

  • Develop, maintain, and drive the execution of a product centric roadmap for all Collaboration and Productivity services. 

  • Partner with Business and IT colleagues to architect, design, develop, test, launch and transition to operations innovative solutions based on Office 365. 
  • Lead the strategic engagement of the Collaboration and Productivity Services Team with the CTUX Strategy and Operations Team, Enterprise Architecture Team, and other relevant teams to ensure alignment of Collaboration and Productivity Services with the overall IT strategy. 
  • Establish and evolve strategic relationships with Microsoft and other key partners in the Office 365 space to drive innovation and challenge IT leadership to endorse adoption of new technologies to maximize the end user experience and reduce overall cost.  

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Develop, maintain, and drive the execution of a product centric Digital Workplace Strategy to support Takeda IT Must Wins and KPIs.
  • Partner with EUE Architects, CTUX Strategy and Operations, and IT Stakeholders to define, maintain, and execute Takeda’s Digital Workplace Strategy.
  • Define the priority of all roadmap items and work with the Collaboration Services Team Leads to ensure proper delivery of new services.
  • Partner with the Change and Adoption team to generate demand and adoption of newly available technologies and capabilities within Office 365.
  • Partner with Business and IT colleagues to architect, design, develop, test, launch and transition to operations innovative solutions based on Office 365.
  • Architect and Design solutions based on the Office 365 platform to meet Business, Security, and IT requirements.
  • When necessary, manage design and development teams in the design, implementation, testing, and launch of solutions with the Collaboration and Productivity space.
  • Responsible for the complete documentation and transition to operations for solutions delivered on Office 365
  • Partner with the Change and Adoption team and other IT teams to architect, design, test and launch new features and technologies based on the Office 365 platform.
  • Lead the cross functional engagement of the Collaboration and Productivity Services Team with the CTUX Strategy and Operations Team, Enteprise Architecture Team, and other relevant teams to ensure alignment of Collaboration and Productivity Services with the overall IT strategy.
  • Partner across Takeda IT to ensure strategic alignment between the Collaboration and Productivity platforms and other IT capabilities such as email hygiene and CASB.
  • Develop and communicate standards related to development of Office 365 solutions.
  • Establish and evolve strategic relationships with Microsoft and other key partners in the Office 365 space to drive innovation and challenge IT leadership to endorse adoption of new technologies to maximize the end user experience.
  • Continue to evolve a close strategic relationship with Microsoft and other primary partners in the Office 365 ecosystem.
  • Provide guidance to IT leadership to drive innovation within the Collaboration and Productivity space while providing trade studies and other decision aids to enable decision making.

EDUCATION, BEHAVIORAL, COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:

  • BS degree minimum
  • 10+ years experience in Information Technology
  • 10+ years experience delivering solutions targeting Microsoft platforms (SharePoint, Office 365).
