As an IT Business Process Expert – CRM & Digital working on the US Commercial IT Business Partner team you will collaborate with sales & marketing teams and franchise aligned IT business partners to deliver innovative technology solutions. You will be responsible for understanding how sales and marketing processes work so they can ensure that technical solutions delivered are aligned with the needs of the sales and marketing teams.
The IT Business Process Expert – CRM & Digital will work on a team that leverages relationships around the company to design, scope, brainstorm, and innovate technology that benefits Takeda's sales, marketing, and patient services functions. The person in this role will need to quickly adapt and build business process knowledge that supports Takeda.
The IT Business Process Expert - CRM & Digital will work with sales and marketing teams and the technology experts to help both sides understand the vision of the business and then iterate to deliver a solution within the technological constraints.
This team has high standards for delivery, focuses on pragmatic ideas for Takeda’s patients, and is very collaborative.
Typical things the team works on in a given day include:
- Design a new dashboard to track brand performance
- Working with marketing teams on business requirements for new digital marketing ideas
- Collaborating with sales leadership on CRM system design
- Playing point between agencies, brand teams, and IT operations on website launches
- Understand how customer-facing teams use technology to help patients and then work with them on measurable improvements
- Lead an adhoc office hours session on new technology where users of that technology can come with questions and problems to be solved
- Bachelor’s degree or related technical disciplines
- 5+ years of experience supporting commercial organizations
- Experience or a general understanding of one or more of the following technical competencies:
- CRM and Sales systems
- MDM – Master Data Management
- Digital Marketing (Websites, Campaign Execution, Marketing Automation)
- Enterprise Data (Data Warehouse, ETL, & Visualization tools)
- Consulted or worked in the Pharmaceuticals or Life Sciences industry
- Advanced understanding in the pharmaceutical business and data used by sales and marketing teams
- Minimal travel
