As a Global Brand Lead working on the Global Product Launch and Strategy team, you will be empowered to contribute to the development of all strategic commercial plans including annual Global Brand Plan in line with the target product positioning, strategies, and goals; partner with core global team leads and ensure delivery of the Global Brand Plan. A typical day will include:

POSITION OBJECTIVES:

  • Support the global team in the development and implementation of the strategic brand plan and the aligned global deliverables in compliance with Takeda’s and Industry standards
  • Collaborate closely with US and other Regional New Products Planning colleagues to ensure alignment and lead co-creation of marketing initiatives
  • Partner with cross-functional/regions/countries to drive launch readiness

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Support the commercial team in the development and implementation of aligned global marketing deliverables

  • Interpret and leverage market research in the creation of programs and materials
  • Define, create and lead implementation of impactful global marketing initiatives, including disease education and market development efforts
  • Collaborate closely with US and other Regional New Products Planning colleagues to ensure alignment and lead co-creation of initiatives
  • Partner with Integrated Patient Solutions team to identify, develop and implement integrated strategy that delivers value-add to patients and

Partner with Global, Regional and Country level colleagues to ensure launch readiness

  • Contribute to the development and drive implementation of Go To Market model
  • Liaise with Forecasting team and cross-functional/Reg/LoC teams to prepare long-range forecast and partner with Global Manufacturing Supply to ensure global commercial supply readiness
  • Ensure operational preparedness from Expanded Access Program to global commercialization launch
  • Partner with the Centers of Excellence to develop and implement an internal customer-centric integrated launch readiness model
  • Develop global training strategy and content to ensure launch readiness

Lead development of internal launch preparedness

  • Create and execute internal stakeholder and engagement plan
  • Develop relevant content and infrastructure to ensure efficient and effective onboarding and ongoing education as we prepare for launch
  • Drive internal awareness and excitement for launch asset

EDUCATION, BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing/business or life sciences; advanced degree is a plus
  • 8 + years with local/Global/Regional brand management in pharmaceutical industry, ideally in a high specialty/scientific environment; specific experience in Rare Diseases is a plus
  • Able to work on multiple tasks and manage to deadlines; project management experience
  • Excellent communication/influencing skills

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

  • 15-20%
