POSITION OBJECTIVES:
The Associate Director, Rare Autoimmune Disorders (RAID) Marketing Lead represents an excellent opportunity to demonstrate strong operational skills while developing an enterprise strategic thinking by contributing to critical strategic projects with inline products and their life cycle management opportunities.
The successful candidate will lead the promising IG Neurology portfolio and its strategy development.
Gammagard Liquid is a multi-billion-dollar product, and main driver of the Franchise Portfolio growth in the next 10 years. It is currently indicated in Primary Immunodeficiency (PI) and Multifocal Motor Neuropathy (MMN).
HyQvia is the most differentiated product in Takeda’s Immunoglobulin portfolio and is the only Facilitated Subcutaneous Immunoglobulin on the market enhancing patients’ treatment experience and improving the quality of life. Currently indicated in PI with plans to expand into the Rare Autoimmune Disease area bringing value to patients who seek more freedom with longer intervals between their treatments.
The role will also support Gammagard S/D low IgA and its future life cycle management opportunities
The Associate Director, RAID Marketing Lead plays a pivotal role in ensuring competitive & launch readiness coordination across functions (Medical, Managed Markets, Advocacy, etc.), marketing teams, and Global; setting strategy and synergies to ensure continued differentiation and patient value in the Rare Autoimmune Disorders space.
POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:
In this role, you will work closely with the Director, Gammagard Marketing Lead across all products’ Neuro-immunology indications. You will be empowered to help shape and implement the strategic marketing vision for the Brands with key responsibilities that include:
Lead Annual RAID Strategy development and implementation
Define performance monitoring frameworks and metrics for RAID and ensure clear Brand KPIs
Implement strategies to ensure pull-through for the Portfolio life cycle improvements
Support Global strategy implementation into the US Region for RAID
Collaborate with the Global Team to influence strategies and priorities and ensure they meet the USBU Region needs
Ensure constant alignment across marketing teams to leverage synergies and minimize efforts in processes and activities
Develop the RAID KOLs engagement strategy
Defining and delivering on RAID promotional programs
Lead the RAID digital and omnichannel marketing strategy, leveraging synergies with other Marketing Teams (Immunodeficiency Franchise, Alpha 1 Team, etc.)
Cross-functional collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders (Medical, Managed Markets, Patient Services, Advocacy, etc.) to enable the execution of promotional communications strategy and translate brand strategy into customer strategy and multichannel marketing plan
Lead annual planning generation for RAID (HCPs and Patients)
Work in strong and constant collaboration with Medical and HEOR Team
Partner with Congress & Events leads to guarantee strong presence at major Conferences for RAID
Work closely with the Medical Team to ensure appropriate market preparation for future indications launch
Align with Market Research & Insights Team on top priorities for RAID
Lead insight generation activities such as market research, advisory boards, claims data analysis, etc. for current and future market insights and communicate to the broader team
Manage relationships with creative and strategic external agencies

REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree required with 7+ years of marketing/product management experience with a demonstrated record of success. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
9+ years pharmaceutical industry or related experience preferred. 3+ years' experience in Rare Diseases/Neurology or Neuroscience highly recommended
Established knowledge of the US Healthcare system and distribution channels
Experience as launch lead for new products and/or new indications
Demonstrated experience in Portfolio management with multiple Brands/indications responsibility
Understanding of specialty pharmacies activity and dynamics
Demonstrated experience in leading and influencing cross-functional teams
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to attend internal meetings, conferences, customer visits as needed
Overnight travel
Travel up to 25% including weekends (during conferences/congresses)
