Takeda completes acquisition of ARIAD Pharmaceuticals, Inc., significantly enhancing our global oncology portfolio and reinforcing our commitment to develop medicines for patients living with cancer.
Rushing Toward a Cure (RTC) launched in 2006 in partnership with the Patriots Radio Network (WBZ 98.5) and our local chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). With RTC, Takeda Oncology contributes a set financial donation to the LLS for every 100 rushing yards gained by New England during the pre, regular and post-seasons. This money helps fund vital blood cancer research, patient services and education programs.

Support drug discovery, development and translational research by providing high quality bioanalytical support with a focus on small and large molecule quantification using mass spectrometry based technologies. Develop targeted and generic quantitative bioanalytical methodologies for a variety of drug modalities in an oncology drug development/discovery setting. Provide bioanalytical expertise at a top industry level in troubleshooting assay issues found either internally or externally at CRO’s or collaborative labs. Communicate with internal customers regarding the project needs and bioanalytical deliverables.
Apply exceptional independent creative thinking in seeking solutions proactively for moving projects forward. Be absorptive on new technologies and concepts and be able to balance innovation and adoption of new methodologies for real applications. Design, test, and implement new methodologies and processes that contribute to the research goals of the group/department.
The applicant must be a PhD candidate in Pharmaceutical /Biological Sciences/Analytical chemistry or other relevant field. Working experience at biological lab and expertise in liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS) and its application to the biological sample analysis is essential. Hands on experience of small molecules, protein and peptide quantification using AB SCIEX Triple Quad and Thermo Q Exactive plus is preferred. Fundamental knowledge of antibody therapeutics, anti-drug antibodies, and statistical analysis is desirable. Must be detail oriented with strong inter-personal skills and excellent oral and written communication capabilities for working in a team environment.
