OBJECTIVES:
Takeda's summer internship program blends real world experience with an extensive overview of the pharmaceutical industry. Knowledgeable mentors will provide guidance as you gain professional hands-on experience.
The summer internship program is 12 weeks in length and offers a unique perspective into a world-class pharmaceutical company. Compensation is competitive, and financed temporary housing is available to those who qualify. Our internship program also provides you the opportunity to network with people at Takeda through various planned events and activities.
This position will support all aspects of the US Market Access group.
ACCOUNTABILITIES: 
Support Director, USMA Commercial Analytics in analytic tasks as requested
  • Well versed in Excel; responsible for pulling reports from SalesForce.com and generating activity reports  and dashboards
  • Create variance reports between data sources as needed
  • Review Cognos metrics dashboard for accuracy and communicate discrepancies to field teams

Support Director, USMA Operations with training initiatives & meeting planning
  • Responsible for sending all New Hire material to new employees
  • Responsible for identifying deficiencies in training material, updating and organizing training material in the New Hire iPad app and resources in the Field Resources app
  • Assist in writing and recording training presentation scripts
  • Assist in coordinating meeting logistics for USMA team
Support Director, USMA Marketing with One Point initiatives
  • Responsible for tracking and organizing on-going action items from cross-functional teams
  • Other
***Will be responsible for developing and completing a project over the internship period and presenting final results to the group***
Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  • Applicants must be enrolled in a U.S. accredited university for the semester before and immediately following the internship.
  • Applicants must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree and have completed at least their sophomore year or be a graduate-level student pursuing either a PharmD or Master’s degree; for Bachelor’s and Master’s degree students, a major in a healthcare, pharmacy or life science field is preferred.
