Global Manufacturing & Supply and Global Quality (GMSGQ) is the backbone of Takeda. We strive to ensure that our medicines are made available wherever our patients are.  Takeda Brooklyn Park is part of Takeda’s Biologics Network. The state-of-the-art facility specializes in Large Scale Monoclonal AntiBody manufacturing producing two of Takeda's critical products: Entyvio Takeda's Largest Product (GI) and ADCetris (Oncology).

As a member of our Site Leadership Team (SLT), you will be leading and shaping our culture and our people in the spirit of an agile, patient-centric and diverse organization.


  • Developing and implementing a People Strategy in line with the overall Site Strategy and the Biologics OPU & GMSGQ HR Strategy & People Priorities

  • Help solve complex business problems through an intimate understanding of those problems and the complex set of factors (Culture, People, Capabilities, etc.) that can influence them.

  • Leverage Data about our people to solve strategic Problems – finding the right data, formulating and testing hypotheses and designing novel solutions.

  • Helping to manage complexity through a combination of clear communications, relationship building and proactive management of our networks.

  • Navigating difficult conversations and complex interconnected relationships to provide advice, coaching and mentorship to an array of team members across the site.

  • Maintaining an independent perspective and voice within the teams to proactively support key strategic initiatives and help shape the direction of our teams.

  • In collaboration with the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Council and Talent Acquisition, establishing an external presence to position us as an Employer of Choice and maintaining a strong talent pipeline

  • Embedding robust Talent Management processes at the site – helping the organization map the right people to the right roles, ensuring strong, diversified succession planning and capability building for now and the future.

  • Embedding a Performance Culture by ensuring all employees receive ongoing feedback in line with Takeda’s performance management philosophy      

  • Partner with the Site Head and Senior Leadership team to drive effective organizational alignment and processes to enable strong partnerships with key functions.

  • Lead change management efforts in partnership with the Senior Leadership team.

  • Developing and managing the HR business partners


  • Bachelor’s degree in an HR discipline or related field required; MBA or master’s degree preferred

  • 10+ years of HR experience, with 7+ in a management role

  • Pharma, Biotech or complex manufacturing environment experience preferred

  • A natural collaborator who is authentic, transparent, and honest, aligned with Takeda Values and Leadership Behaviors

  • Strong leadership, influence skills and change agility – thrives in a complex, fast paced, rapidly evolving environment. Can shift between thinking strategically and consulting HR centralized resources on operational issues.

  • Influential communicator – clear, honest, effective – across all levels, internally and externally

  • Expertise in HR best practices with the ability to build sustainable long-term strategies

  • Demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships with the management team and to coach and influence decision making of senior leaders

  • Skilled in developing HR and D&I initiatives and aligning people management practices to support business objectives

  • Business acumen, commercial awareness, and strategic approach

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to make timely and balanced decisions

  • Demonstrated ability to help define, translate and execute on an organization’s strategy

  • Solid knowledge of HR strategies, practices, and policies

  • Demonstrated ability to manage and resolve conflict
