Our communities
Rushing Toward a Cure (RTC) launched in 2006 in partnership with the Patriots Radio Network (WBZ 98.5) and our local chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). With RTC, Takeda Oncology contributes a set financial donation to the LLS for every 100 rushing yards gained by New England during the pre, regular and post-seasons. This money helps fund vital blood cancer research, patient services and education programs.

Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
A PhD-level student summer intern tasked with implementing, testing, and demonstrating a pipeline for health-related data streams from wearable and digital devices
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop/Install an end-to-end pipeline for collecting, managing, accessing, and analyzing wearable/digital data
- Exercise the digital data pipeline from several initiation points (smartphone, smartwatch, csv file)
- Demonstrate utility for data management, analysis, and visualization
Qualifications
- A PhD student in computational biology, bioinformatics, bioengineering or related field. Advanced masters students may also be considered
- Familiarity with sensor-computer interfaces, data streaming applications, Confluent/Apache Kafka, REST protocol and APIs, and signal processing methods
- Programming experience in R or Python
- Strong communication skills.
