Title: Process & Systems Lead - GREFP

POSITION OBJECTIVES:

  • Lead the development of the global vision for processes, systems, and tools that span the function of Global Real Estate, Facilities, and Procurement (GREFP)
  • Develop the strategy to achieve our our vision for process, systems, & tools
  • Develop & implement the mutli-year roadmap to achieve our process & systems strategy
  • Ensure we are leveraging our data to improve business outcomes in support of the patient; function as the GREFP data scientist

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Lead the development of the global vision for processes, systems, and tools that span the function.  These processes have a significant impact on the productivity of all Takeda employees (e.g. procurement process, facility processes, etc.)
  • Develop the strategy to achieve our our vision for process, systems, & tools
  • Develop & implement the mutli-year roadmap to achieve our process & systems strategy
  • Identify, evaluate, and own the implementation of transformative processes leverging digital, automation, and emerging technology
  • Document the current state (process & technologies); achieve alignment on the future state (processes & technologies); develop a multi-year roadmap to get us from current state to future state; manage the journey
  • Question business processes with a mindset to eliminate, optimize, and automate if appropriate
  • Develop business cases for implementing new technology / systems
  • Partner with a wide variety of internal stakeholders.  Establish deep effective partnerships with Regional Heads, Global Centers of Excellence (CoEs), Heads of Procurement, and Business Partners (especially IT, Takeda Business Solutions, Finance, HR, and Communications), as well as key positions within the Business Units and functions. Navigate the complexities of our LOC centric operating model
  • Responsible for training people on new processes and/or new technology.  Function as the champion / advocate for the new processes / new technology
  • Create a culture of compliance internally and externally where everyone Lives Our Values Every Day (LOVED) and abides by Takeda’s Global Code of Conduct and Supplier Code of Conduct

EDUCATION, BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:

  • MBA or Masters Degree required
  • 12-15 years experience in business process improvement 
  • Significant experience in applying technology to optimize business processes
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
  • Experience working in a complex global environment preferred
  • Exceptionally skilled at stakeholder management  
  • Collaborative and diplomatic
  • Demonstrated track record of operating successfully with limited day-to-day direction and ambiguity
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Exceptional communication skills both oral and written.
  • Extensive experience using PowerPoint, Visio, and MS Project

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Global travel as needed, averaging 15% and up to 30% at times of peak activity.
