The Immunology Business Manager will be responsible for driving Immunology sales growth through execution of sales strategies.

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Collaborates with Regional Business Director and various customer facing team members to ensure patients are supported through their PI journey 

  • Drive demand generation efforts through a focus on healthcare professionals. The healthcare providers (HCPs) should be educated and informed on Takeda brands: GAMMAGARD, HYQVIA, and CUVITRU for Primary Immune Disease patients

  • This position requires daytime, as well as, evening and weekend activities, and the ability to manage through the complexity of the IG marketplace (distribution, site of care) 

  • Work closely with third party specialty pharmacies to ensure patients receive access to therapy 

  • Must compliantly adhere to all policies and guidelines and ensure high level of customer satisfaction and exudes Takeda culture and values

  • Ability to work across various organizational functions

  • Results driven- a track record of results and compliance throughout career

  • Understanding of customers motivations and needs

  • Demonstrated business acumen and strong knowledge of sales processes

  • Ability to showcase strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral, as well as negotiation and presentation skills 

  • Possess organizational and territory planning skills

  • Track record of displaying the ability to thrive both in team and individual contributor settings 

  • Effective at acquiring, analyzing, and interpreting customer data to create effective sales strategies

  • Demonstrated change agility skills and experiences

  • Wants to participate in a culture that puts the patient at the center of all that we do

EDUCATION, BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:

Required:

  • Bachelor of Science degree

  • 7+ years of successful relevant healthcare experience in managing and being accountable for own business

  • 7 + years of Clinical Sales experience/background

Effective November 1, 2021, absent an approved religious or medical reason, all US office-based and lab-based Takeda employees who work fully on-site or in a hybrid model (as determined by Takeda) must be fully vaccinated to work at a Takeda site or to engage with Takeda colleagues or anyone else on behalf of Takeda. Preferred:

  • Experience and/or knowledge in Immunology, Pulmonology, and/or Allergy

  • Experience in Biotech and/or Specialty Pharmacy

  • Experience influencing HCPs to prescribe and product launch experience

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Conduct patient and physician engagements on evenings, including the execution of Peer-to-Peer programming

  • Support conventions and meetings supporting Immunology

  • Up to 50% Travel Required. Territory includes parts of Central Atlanta, East Atlanta, GA, and Anderson, SC
