OBJECTIVES:
The PDT BOTT Delivery Managerwill be responsible forthe design and execution of the Talent and BOTT operational model for Takeda’s Innovation Capability Services (ICS). This role will be based in Bengaluru, India and will report to the Head of Delivery PDT Data, Digital, & Technology (DD&T).
- Executethe Talent and BOTT (Build, Operate, Transfer, Transform)operational model, supporting the transition of personnel from vendorsto ICS over the nextthreeyears
- Enablestrategic partnerships with vendor partners toexecuteTalent and BOTT operational processes,enablecontinuousimprovement and manageconflictresolution
- Establishtracking processes to manage, measure, report, and track ongoingvendor performance
- Manage key stakeholder interactions and overseevendorcontracts, includingmaintainingfinancial management of vendorrelationships
- Act as an agent of changefor the PDT US organization, bringing in other businesses around
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Leadership
Effectively supporting the management of business relationships with vendors based in India and in the US.
Champion the growth and expansion PDT, determiningways that PDT can expand and professionals are provided opportunities for growth
Act as an agent of changefor the PDT US organization, bringing in other businesses around CS and communicating transparently with executive stakeholders on best path forward for PDT
Accountable for supporting the execution of ICS, influencing and communicating the value of the transformation to business stakeholders
Vendor and Financial Management
- Support and eventually maintain vendor relationships, within India and United States, ensuring the vendors fulfill their contractual obligations and provide services in a timely manner
- Shape the support required and strategic obligations from the 3rd party vendors, in areas of setting standards for contracts, determining sourcing needs for ICS center, and monitoring ongoing vendor performance management
- Support and eventually managefinancial managementactivities with vendors, communication, talent transition strategy,and ongoing deal management.
BOTT Operations
Support the execution of the BOTT operational model, providing status updates to vendors and project stakeholders on an ongoing basis
Implement metrics and KPI’s to track the status of the BOTT model and agreed upon services, assessing delays, challenges as they arise
Develop and leverage the BOTT governance model, effectively communicating with stakeholders at all levels during the transition process:
Facilitate regular operational meetings between vendors and project leadership
Maintain a multi-layer governance model
Deliver effective performance communications on status of BOTT model
Manage the investment decision process needed to deliver agreed to BOTT transformation objectives
EDUCATION, BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
Experience working across timezones and geographies; demonstrating sensitivity to and understanding cultural differences
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Operations Management, or Engineering
At minimum of 10 years of experience in data, digital, and technology roles; experience in the BioPharma or Healthcare industrypreferred
Provenexperiencesetting up shared services and continuousimprovement
Proven abilities in cost management, financial analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting Experience managing change in complexenvironments
Experience with vendortransition and managingvendorrelationships
Demonstrate success operating in a matrix organization, while managing across a complex cross-functional global environment
Prior experience in developing and driving high-performing technical teams
Operate in a fast-paced manner, minimizing disruption to ongoing business operations and maintaining business continuity
Comprehensive knowledge of data analysis, project management, and business acumen
Solutions-oriented, able to think through challenges both qualitatively & quantitatively and be able to provide action-oriented, timelysolutions
Strong program management capabilities and strategic thinking skills
Demonstrate interpersonal and relationship building skills with executive stakeholders, amongst managingteams
Fluent in English; exceptionalverbal and writtencommunication
